QUALITY ASSESSMENT AND ASSURANCE (QA):
SCOPE OF QA PROGRAM
In the interest of providing high quality resident care, the
governing body and
administration of this facility support and maintain an effective
facility-wide quality
assessment and assurance program. The professional and
administrative staff
monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of resident
care and clinical
performance of the resident care staff. Concerns are identified,
resolved and
reported to the administrator and governing body of the facility.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE
SunQuest requires that all licensed and certified staff engaged in
practice be
currently licensed and in good standing with their respective
licensing board. The
facility requires licensed/certified staff to annually provide
evidence of current South
Dakota licensure. Furthermore, licensed/certified staff may
practice at SunQuest
only within the bounds of their respective practice and as enacted
by the State of
South Dakota
